A day with Luna, 2 weeks old
Ten feeds, nine naps, seven diapers. Nobody remembers all that through a fog of short nights. Rose does, works out the rhythm and suggests which breast is next.
An hour of contractions, at 39 weeks
Eight contractions, about 6 minutes apart, each close to a minute long. Rose applies your hospital’s rule (5-1-1, 4-1-1 or 3-1-1), guides your breathing and shows the number to call when it’s time.

A timer for each breast, burps and top-ups. Rose shows which side to offer and roughly when the next feed will come.
